We at Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic, Damla, Yamunanagar firmly believe that the moral responsibility of Training & Placement Department is to ensure job to all the eligible students passing out every year.
The "MOOL MANTRA" for our success is to ensure that all the students are made clear about the "Know your self concept" and follow the experiences of experts in the field. For effectively getting the result we from the very First Semester interact with the students regularly and share the live examples of our Polytechnic with them so that our communication is fully effective.
To achieve the 100% employment, the different activities are the basis of our success. The different teams are constituted by the management and given responsibility for execution of all activities summarized as below:-
- Personality Development classes for all the students by internal faculty and from the specialists hired from time to time. Special efforts taken in inviting members from the industry.
- Guest lecture by industry experts to keep pace with latest technologies. This simultaneously help the students to conceptualize the latest industry needs.
- Pre placement and carrier counseling sessions.
- Group discussions and mock interviews.
- Sessions on "How to crack an interview” During this special emphasis is given on all basic like attitude, aptitude, basic arithmetic, reasoning skills and English both verbal & written which is now a days called the" language of convenience” for the technical people.
- Special efforts for Industrial Training for six weeks after the 4th semester as a part of course curriculum is given top priority. Some of the industries have come forward and joined hands with our institution to train the students “ on the job type of training".
- Since the industry needs are much varying we have regular MOU signed with the specialist to take care for the overall development of the students.
